Perimeter Drainage was one of the first to introduce this service back in 1998, and ever since, homeowners have come to rely on us to keep their drainage systems operating at peak efficiency. We conduct our professional Camera Diagnostic Inspections using video to assess the problem with a drainage or sewer system. It is used to locate blockages, determine the condition of a pipe or drain tiles, check for sags in a pipe or properly map out locations of pipes and connections and quickly determine the best course of action.

How does a video diagnostic work?
When a blockage is difficult to locate, our video inspection technology helps us get to the root of the problem. A small camera allows us to pinpoint blockages, identify damage, and assess the condition of your drainage system—without unnecessary digging or disruption.
Will a video diagnostic save me money?
Yes. With a clear view of the problem, we can recommend the right repair and help save you time and money. If there is a sewer backup, assessing the cause, and location of the blockage can determine the best method of repairing the pipe. For example, if there is a break in the pipe then repairing the pipe would be a better method then inserting an auger and trying to clear the blockage. If there are roots in the line, inserting a root cutter would be the best option.
Can a video diagnostic tell the overall condition of my drainage system?
Yes but it won’t determine the condition of the foundation. Using a camera allows us to determine the overall condition of the drainage piping system. A map of the system can be properly created with directions of flow, locations of sumps, depths of pipe and locations of storm connections. This will allow you to visually see how your drainage system works.
Will a video prove it’s repaired properly?
Yes. After the repair is complete, we will use video so you can see for yourself the pipe is clear.
